File Integrity Monitoring on Virtual Machines
The new version of Cloud Advisor automatically monitors changes to files in Linux operating systems and files and the registry in Windows operating systems, including:
- operating system configurations;
- application settings;
- security system settings.
File integrity monitoring is a critical security capability that enables the detection of changes to sensitive files on virtual machines. It provides:
- Early detection of malicious activity through timely alerts on unauthorized changes;
- Incident investigation thanks to detailed information about which files were modified;
- Compliance with regulatory and corporate standards, such as PCI DSS (Req. 11.5.2).
The product comes with a predefined list of monitored items, to which you can add any files or folders. The product will track any changes made to them, including modifications to their contents, the deletion or addition of new files, and changes to access permissions.
Thanks to its agentless architecture, the solution does not require installing additional software and provides instant full coverage and automatic scanning of new virtual machines.
No additional actions are required from the user to enable file integrity monitoring - reports are already available in the web console.

This release also adds support for Astra Linux 1.7, 1.8, and 4.7, as well as RED OS 7.3 and 8.0. The product now delivers comprehensive protection for virtual machines across more than 60 operating systems.
