Cloud Advisor Now Supports All Three Cloud.ru Cloud Platforms: Advanced, VMware Cloud, and Evolution

Cloud Advisor announces support for Cloud.ru Evolution, the new cloud platform from Cloud.ru. Cloud Advisor now enables organizations to secure their infrastructure regardless of which Cloud.ru platform they use to host their resources: Advanced, VMware Cloud, or Evolution.

For organizations using multiple cloud platforms, Cloud Advisor provides a single interface for cloud security, resource inventory, and cost optimization across the entire multi-cloud environment.

At present, the Standard Cloud Advisor license is available for Cloud.ru Evolution users. It includes three modules:

• CSPM continuously identifies cloud misconfigurations. According to the Cloud Security Alliance, misconfigurations and insufficient change control remain the leading security risks in public cloud environments.

• The Cost Optimization module identifies unused and underutilized resources, helping organizations reduce their cloud spending.

• The Insights module stores data about all resources, their properties, and relationships in a unified graph database. This enables IT and security teams to instantly get answers to any questions about the current state of their infrastructure.

In the first half of 2027, an advanced license is expected to be released, extending the platform with comprehensive virtual machine protection capabilities, including vulnerability management, malware detection, OS configuration assessment, and other security controls, as well as Kubernetes security.

Support for Cloud.ru Evolution marks another milestone in the evolution of Cloud Advisor as a Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP), enabling organizations to use public cloud securely and efficiently, regardless of the cloud platform they choose.
